Emilia Clarke said yesterday that two aneurysms left parts of her brain "no longer

useable," and as a result, she shouldn't be able to talk.

The actress, 35, claimed she was among a "very tiny number" of survivors

who had had "no consequences."

Her first aneurysm ruptured in 2011 after the completion of the first season of Game of Thrones,

resulting in a stroke, and her second aneurysm, which had quadrupled in size, required surgery in 2013.

You acquire a lot more perspective, Miss Clarke said to Sophie Raworth on BBC1's Sunday Morning.

She is making her West End debut in The Seagull. How much of my brain is no longer functional...

The fact that so much is missing always makes me giggle.
