Best way to get the Midlander Sword Billet in Genshin Impact
- Finish Aranyaka Part 2 World and the Trees & Dreams quest.
- Play the Vintage Lyre in front of Silapna (if you’re not in the “Dreamland”).
- Navigate to The Tree of Dreams, Vanarana, and interact with it.
- Offer Dendro Sigils.
- Select “Rewards”.
- Claim the “Level 4” reward.
Unlike Northlander Billets, which were added to the game in version 1.0, you can’t get Midlander Billets from boss fights against weekly bosses. Instead, you can only get Midlander Billets by going to an alchemy bench and using one Northlander Billet of a certain type and two Dream Solvents to make a Midlander variant of the same type.
So, you can use a Midlander Sword Billet to make the 4-star Sapwood Blade sword, and you can use the Claymore, Polearm, Catalyst, and Bow ones to make the 4-star Forest Regalia, Moonpiercer, Fruit of Fulfillment, and King’s Squire weapons.
First, it’s worth noting that getting Midlander Billets is a bit harder than Northlander Billets added in Genshin Impact 1.0. To get Northlander Billets, you must fight and defeat the weekly bosses, but in the case of Midlander Billets, things are a bit more complicated.
To get Midlander Billets in Genshin Impact, you must visit Alchemy Bank and use the following materials:
- 2 Dream Solvents
- Northlander Billet.

- Midlander Claymore Billet: To get this item, you must use Alchemy Bench and convert Northlander Claymore Billet and two Dream Solvents. Also, you can get one as soon as your Tree of Dreams is level 14.
- Midlander Catalyst Billet: To get this item, you must use Alchemy Bench and convert Northlander Catalyst Billet and two Dream Solvents.
- Midlander Bow Billet: To get this item, you must use Alchemy Bench and convert Northlander Bow Billet and two Dream Solvents.
