If you’ve played a Pokémon game before, you know how important TMs are to the series, and Pokémon Scarlet and Violet don’t do anything to change this. It’s the main way to teach Pokémon new moves, some of which they might not be able to figure out on their own. They are a great way to work on your Pokémon’s weaknesses and make them better all-around fighters who can do well in many different types of battles.
There are a total of 171 TMs in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet. They can be found all over the Paldea region. The Pokémon Sun and Moon series is where both games take place. You can still get TMs by opening up glowing yellow Poké Balls that have been left around the world. Some are also given out as rewards, and you can also make your own. You will start the game with a few TMs in your TM inventory. The number of TMs you can make will increase each time you get a TM from a yellow Poké Ball or when you reach certain goals in the game. One of the most important things to do if you want to get a lot of TMs at once is to beat Team Star bases.
HOW TO CRAFT TMS IN POKÉMON SCARLET AND VIOLET
Once you have the TM or the recipe for it, you can make it at any Pokémon Center’s TM Machine. Each TM has its own list of needed ingredients. If you have a TM recipe, you can see them right on the page. First, you’ll need League Points to buy any TM. You get League Points from Gym battles and Tera Raid battles.
TMs also need resources, which you can get by fighting wild Pokémon or by taking part in Tera Raids. When a Pokémon is defeated, it will drop items that are related to it. For example, Azurill Fur, Shroodle Ink, Torkoal Coal, and Maschiff Fang. Some of the resources will have question marks next to them, but you won’t know what they are until you’ve beaten the Pokémon they’re linked to. The full list below should help you figure out which monsters you need to kill to get the TM you want.
Here is a list of the TMs we’ve found and learned how to make in Paldea. The world of Paldea is so big that you might have to work a little to find or unlock these, but if it’s a TM you need to get through a tough spot, it’ll be worth it. As we find more TMs, we’ll add them to this list.
