Raft: How To Get Hinge

Last Updated on July 23, 2022 by Sam

In Raft, hinges are materials that are used to create a multitude of things. However, Chests, Large Crop Plots, Receivers, and the Stationary Anchor would have to be their most popular applications.

You will probably have a difficult time locating any Hinges in the early game since they are difficult to come by naturally. In any case, we have you covered entirely with this guidance.

Raft: How To Get Hinge

How To Craft Hinge In Raft | WHERE TO FIND HINGES IN RAFT

In Raft, Hinge is used for various reasons, like-

  • Storage
  • Shear
  • Anchor
  • Steering Wheel
  • Biofuel Refinery
  • Beehive
  • Crop Plot etc

Getting Hinge can be easier if you know how to get it.

Hinges may be obtained in one of two ways: either finding them or creating them. Let’s begin by locating them. Barrels, other rafts, and loot boxes discovered on islands all have a possibility of containing Hinges. Although the possibilities are quite remote, I have still had a couple come my way.

Alternatively, you may make them from scratch. This can be challenging if you’re still in the early stages of the game. To make ingots, which may later be used to make 1 hinge per ingot, you must process metal ore.

A smelter is needed to melt metal, which costs dry bricks. Six wet bricks made of sand and clay are needed to produce six dry bricks, which are then allowed to dry. While metal ore may be discovered on the sides of islands underwater.

Hinges’ construction instructions and location are shown above. You may need to unlock it in the Research Table if it isn’t already there. Due to its difficulty in obtaining, metal is perhaps the rarest resource at the moment in Raft.

When searching for it, there is a significant risk of drowning and shark damage.

Where To Find Hinge

Hinges may be found in the game’s Loot Boxes, which are dispersed around the game’s islands. Additionally, Vacated Rafts that spawn randomly in the water include Loot Boxes. A Hinge may be found in the Loot Box of each Vacated Raft, which contains numerous items.

But just be cautious. As soon as you set foot on a vacant raft, it begins to sink. So, grab the stuff quickly and return to your raft thereafter.
