Where to Find Tyr in God of War Ragnarok

The search for Tyr marks the beginning of Kratos and Atreus’ major journey in God of War: Ragnarok, which begins toward the beginning of the game. This task has gotten Atreus into trouble with Odin, and it is also the thing that ultimately kicks off the requirement to go through the rest of the game.

However, we should not have expected it to be that easy. You have the opportunity to turn back right now if you change your mind about seeing the spoilers that are up ahead. For those who have finished God of War Ragnarok though, we have just the guide for you. In this section, we will discuss where you can find Tyr later in the game and how to get to him.

God of War Ragnarok – How to Find the Real Tyr

At this point, you’ll have access to every realm aside from Asgard, and after Ragnarok, one of the Aesir prisons came crashing down in Niflheim. Below you can find a step-by-step process to locate Tyr and free him from his previous fate caused by Odin.

Tyr Location in God of War:.

Start your journey to the mysterious Mystic Gateway and transport yourself to the Raven Tree in Niflheim. As you walk past the arena, you’ll notice a new path that Kratos can jump across. Follow this path to discover the Aesir Prison Wreckage. Explore the prison, unlocking each cell as you make your way down to the bottom floor. Here, you’ll come across an understandably confused Tyr.

Once you’ve located the Norse God of War, he will go off on his own to make sense of all the events that transpired. You’ll no longer find him at Sindri’s house, but you can actually find him meditating to some degree in each realm. Nothing comes of it when you do find him, but each realm gives you some interesting dialogue to listen to.
