Last Updated on January 26, 2023 by Sam
It’s not as easy to share or repost on Instagram as it is on other social media sites.
Many users are curious about why that is, but the developers don’t seem to be in a hurry to explain.
We hope that these tips will help you get around the fact that this social media platform doesn’t have a “share” button.
Instagram is different from other social media sites like Facebook and Twitter in that you can’t share or retweet. Instead, it lets you share content from someone else on your Story as long as you follow a few rules and give them credit.
If you can’t repost something on Instagram for some reason, we have a few ideas for you.
How to Fix Repost Not Working In Instagram ?
I am Assuming That you are posting someone else’s post on Instagram. There is only one way to do. You have to share that user’s post as part of your Instagram story.
1. Log into Instagram
To Solve the issue first you have to login into your account. By entering your User Id and Password.
2. Find a post you want to repost or share
After Login you have to find that post which you want to repost on your story.
3. Tap the paper airplane-like icon
The next step is that as you can see in image you will see a paper airplane like icon just right after comment section. Tap on that icon. A new window will pop-up.
4. Select “Add post to your story.”
Now you will see add post to your story option appear just below search section. Tap on that option Your selected post will be reposted on your story withing few second.
If you don’t see the “Add Post to Your Story” option, it’s because the other user has a private account. Instead, you’ll see a list of people you can send the post to and a list of people you can’t. The latter happens because they are not accepted followers of the original content creator.
