Dual Blades Guide in Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak
With the help of Dual Blades, you can quickly deliver several strikes to your victim in a short amount of time. They complement status and elemental effects effectively. In addition to that, they have movement features that make it simple for you to avoid monster assaults.
They stand out due to a peculiar mechanism called Demon Mode. Once triggered, your attack and movement speed will rise, and your dodge rolls will change into brief, swift dashes. However, when active, you’ll progressively lose stamina, so take care to use it wisely while fighting.
The Demon gauge will soon fill up as you keep fighting while in Demon Mode. You will then go into Archdemon Mode when this occurs. You don’t need to activate Demon Mode attacks to use them in this mode.
In the Sunbreak update, you can also gain access to the following new attacks:
- Spiral Slash – You fling yourself at your victim with a Silkbind assault that you trigger with your Wirebag. If it connects, your body will serve as a drill in addition to your Dual Blades to do a lot of damage to your adversary.
- Slide Slash Combo – Your fighting potency goes up with this new attack. It enables you to simultaneously strike and defend against an opponent’s assaults. You may even use it in addition to your standard attack combinations to keep up the pressure on your foe.
