Bane of the Trapped Legendary Gem Diablo 3
Last Updated on July 20, 2022 by Sam
In Diablo III, Bane of the Trapped is a Legendary Gem. It only drops from Greater Rift Guardians and may be socketed into Amulets and Rings.
When worn, it multiplicatively boosts damage dealt to foes when they are under the control of any crowd control spell, whether it is cast by the gem’s owner, a trap, or another player. If the victim is not presently under CC, an attack that imparts such effects is not increased. The damage boost may be increased by upgrading up to 60% at the current maximum level of 150.
At level 25, it additionally grants a persistent mild Slow aura, making the gem virtually always effective against any opponents within 15 yards. As a result, practically every Nephalem hero can utilise the gem effectively and consistently.
Crowd control effects are immune against monsters or elites with the Juggernaut affix, entirely negating the advantages of this legendary gem.
