How to Get Flint in Ark: Survival Evolved:- The game Ark: Survival Evolved is all about crafting and surviving, and if you want to make it through the game, you’re going to need to become familiar with the different resources and how they can be used.
When you first begin playing, keeping track of your character’s statistics is a full-time job in and of itself, so harvesting resources as effectively as possible is essential. Utilizing our engrams guide is an excellent way to organise what you need to gather and where you should go in order to find the materials you require, as well as to determine which tools are best suited for gathering which materials.
Visit our guide on character levelling for more information on how to achieve higher levels so that you can unlock better recipes that will make your harvesting more effective as you progress through the game. You will have to do the grunt work yourself at first, but as time goes on, you will be able to enlist the assistance of your dino friends in the gathering of resources. For further information, please refer to our guide to taming dinosaurs.
You don’t need to worry about relocating once you’ve sucked the land dry of its bounty because resources will respawn; however, they won’t respawn in the immediate vicinity of any foundations you’ve laid down. Resources will respawn after you’ve sucked the land dry of its bounty.
How to Get Flint in Ark: Survival Evolved
Mining the various rocks that are scattered across the different Ark maps is the only way for players to cultivate their own Flint reserves.
It is recommended that you use a Pick rather than a Hatchet when mining boulders because the majority of them will provide you with Flint. The exception to this rule is metal nodes, which will continue to provide you with the appropriate resource.
When using a Mining Drill, you will get some Flint out of it, but more often than not, you will get Stone out of it. This can be quite a setback if you are trying to get more Flint out of it.
How to Harvest Flint?
The best way to farm Flint is with an Ankylosaurus, a Mantis equipped with a Pick, or simply by harvesting with a Pick. However, it is significantly simpler to harvest with tamed creatures.
Running around with a Pick may be a suitable way to get Flint early on, but using a Mantis, which is mobile and can use a Pick, would prove to be a much better method because Mantises are able to use Picks.
It is best to work together with a friend to use a flyer like an Argentavis or Quetzal to carry an Ankylosaurus around because of its slow speed. An Ankylosaurus can collect a good amount of Flint, but these dinosaurs are also very slow.
