Electric-type In the Pokémon series, Pokémon have always felt like the unofficial fourth Starter type. Pikachu and Charizard are two of the most well-known Pokémon of all time. Dragon-type Pokémon can’t be hurt by moves that use Fire, Water, Grass, or Electric. Electric is the most obvious one.
Electric types are useful Pokémon that can be important parts of final teams. They have attacks that are very powerful against Water and Flying types. But sometimes you’ll need help evolving them to get the Electric type you really want in your team.
Thunder Stones are needed for some Pokémon to evolve. Evolutionary stones have been a part of the Pokémon series since the beginning. To get fan favorites like Jolteon and new Paldean Pokémon like Bellibolt, a player must use the stone on their pre-evolved form.
So, it’s pretty important to get a Thunder Stone. But where in Scarlet and Violet do you do that? Read the guide below to learn everything you need to know about where to look for Thunder Stones.
Where to find Thunder Stones in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
Getting a Thunder Stone in SV is easiest if you buy one. At Delibird Presents, you can buy Thunder Stones for 3,000 Pokédollars. There are a few Delibird Presents shops in different parts of Paldea, but the easiest ones to get to are in Mesagoza, where you can go right away in the game. Look for them in the red circles in the south of the city, as shown on the map below.
But you won’t be able to find these stones right away at Delibird Presents. Before the stores in Paldea will sell you the stones, you have to beat three gyms there.
If you don’t have enough money to buy them, you can also find Thunder Stones in a few places in the overworld. One is in the part of the city of Levincia that sticks out into the East Paldean Sea. One is also on top of a turbine in Area One’s West Province. The trade-off for getting a free Thunder Stone is that these places might be harder to find or get to.
